It is Wednesday, November 16th, and I am Kyle Serrafin.

Thanks so much for joining me with some of my thoughts.

I brought a special guest on today that we are going to do kind of an interview, but more of just a free-form discussion.

We're calling this episode after the arrest.

I think a lot of people have minimal visibility about what goes on in the

FBI and that's part of the reason why I've been kind of involved in trying to explain what happens

and how it works and some of the things that you may not see terminology kind, kind of the inside baseball that your tax dollars are paying for.

And what I've got is a special guest who worked out of the District of New Mexico for a number of years.

I guess you'll be able to tell us exactly how many,

but enough to retire, it sounds like.

So this is Reeve Swainston,

who is a former AUSA and assistant United States attorney,

and that is a federal prosecutor. That's somebody that takes the cases from the FBI

sometimes recommends a case to the FBI and and brings that into

you know both the theorial end of things.

So they're the ones that handle the plea deals.
