Hello, welcome back to After Reality. It's your host Courtney Robertson here, and I'm back, baby. I took the week off last week. My son Gabriel just started preschool. And with that said, I have been with him for 15 months. He's 15 months old now. And I've talked about it before. It's been like running

underwater just to try to get one episode done a week. I've got some really great guests

teed up for you all. Oh boy. I've been doing a lot of outreach. So I'm so excited to be back.

And I have the day to myself for the first time in my house alone in probably five years.

Can you believe it?

And I've been momming hard and last week I took the week off so I could just really savor my

last week with him and get him on a tighter sleep schedule for school.

He's going to be napping there.

H got him his own backpack,

a Sesame Street one, packed his first lunch this morning, and I'm in my feels a little bit. I feel like a limb is missing for sure. But even just moving about the cabin today, I don't have to

close all the bathroom doors,

like little daily things that you have to think of to keep this tiny human alive is just poof

out the window. So I'm excited to have some more runway in my brain to be more creative. I'm going to be

doing more YouTube videos. I just haven't had the

bandwidth. I still really want to do my watch along of my season of The Bachelor. I might need to do

that on Patreon, Patrione. And it's really nice. I can actually record in the house. I typically

have to go to my dads to record or in our detached garage, which has an

AC unit, but it's too loud. So I have been melting out there trying to get episodes done.

I'm currently sitting in Gabriel's room, staring out the window. It's beautiful. And I'm looking at a

fish tank. I'm sitting in a nice Westall leather chair.

This is, things are looking up.

But I do miss the kids.
