Summary

In this episode of After Reality, I’m diving into all the chaos and calm of the week — from family life to the latest reality TV drama. ABC just announced the new Bachelorette, Taylor Frankie Paul, and I’m sharing my thoughts on her colorful past, including her Mormon background and her previous domestic violence arrest.

I’ll also play a clip from my good friend Dave Neal’s podcast, where he shares such a positive message about navigating the negativity on social media — something we could all use right now. Plus, I touch on Mel Owens’ recent apology and give you a peek into what’s been happening with my own family, including a few funny mom moments.

Sometimes, amidst the chaos, it’s the little things — like binging The Summer I Turned Pretty — that bring joy. So grab a cup of coffee, settle in, and let’s unpack it all together.

lives of Mormon wives, but I did just watch the first three episodes. I'm going to

play a couple clips of that if you're like me and you didn't know who she was. So I'm wrapping my

1:00.5

brain around that. I've got thoughts on Mel Owens' first public apology. I didn't think it was

1:07.2

exactly that golden. We're also going to touch on the heartbreaking viral shooting.

1:14.4

I was in a group of people the other day and somebody tried to get me to watch it and I'm a highly

sensitive person. So that kind of goes back to my good friend, Dave Neal, a podcast host. and I'm going to play a clip from him that really hit

1:29.1

home for me. It's really well said and positive, important perspective to hear. And then we'll

1:34.8

lighten things up with a little chat about the summer I turned pretty, belly in Paris.

1:40.8

And of course, I'm going to share some updates on family life and what's been happening

with the kiddos. So my hope is that this episode brings you a little bit of joy, maybe even a

smile as we dive in. As always, I hope you enjoy. And I promise you I will land this plane. Action.
