Welcome to another edition of Full Measure After Hours. Today the risks of cell phones 5G and abruptly halted government safety research.

EMF or electric and magnetic fields are invisible areas of energy or radiation that are produced by ordinary items like electric appliances, computer screens and cell phone technology.

When it comes to cell phones,

I didn't know it before I started working on this topic

a couple of years ago,

but there are literally thousands of studies

showing various risks from cell phone

radiation. Even the industry admits there are thousands of such studies

although it disputes some of the findings and argues the point with some of them.

But it's widely accepted that cell phone radiation has proven very harmful in many respects.

Well in my latest cover story on full measure, set to air Sunday, May 19th, I'm looking at a new related

controversy over government research that was suddenly halted. It was looking into this ticklish topic and

before the research was terminated it had already produced some worrisome results. Researchers say

they found there was clear evidence that high levels of cell phone

radiation caused male rats to develop cancerous heart tumors and they said

there was a significant increase in DNA damage in the brains of male mice

and rats and blood cells of other rodents.

So this just added on to the body of evidence, a huge body of evidence calling it a question the safety of cell phone

radiation and when 5G hit the scene that introduced a whole new level of controversy.

The industry says that type of radiation is safer for various technical reasons,

whereas some of the preeminent scientific experts in the field say 5G is actually worse and more harmful.
