After Hours. Today exclusive and interesting insight into NATO Allied Air Command at Ramstein Air Base in Germany.

These last couple of years have led to so much escalation

in hot spots around the world,

whether we're talking about Russia and Ukraine

or Israel and other parts of the mid-east,

as numerous groups that are Islamic extremist terrorist groups with backing from Iran

launch various attacks.

Some of them against US interests and allies, raising the question of what are we

prepared to do, can we fight on multi- raising the

question of what are we prepared to do? Can we fight on multi fronts at the same time if necessary?

And what role does our military alliance play?

We are a member of NATO, the North Atlantic Treaty Organization, and some time ago

not long after Russia invaded Ukraine, full measure was given the unique opportunity to be the first US crew inside

NATO Allied Air Command at Ramstein Air Base in Germany,

where we got a fascinating look at the Ukraine-Russia war as it was being prosecuted or at least

overseen by NATO officials and U.S. officials in Germany.

I learned quite a bit about how this air command was stood up in Germany and why, what their

role is and how they monitor Russia to make sure they know if there is some sort of escalation or plan for Russia to move beyond

the borders of Ukraine. Here's a look back at my visit to NATO Allied Air Command in Germany.
