Hours. Today, when it comes to the Afghanistan crisis and U.S. missteps, there are some familiar

faces and themes raising the question, do we really learn from our past mistakes or

simply work to explain them away and cover them up? Also an update on Natural Immunity

Versus Vaccine Effectiveness.

I'm really excited that in just a little more than two weeks, we begin season 7 of Full

Measure. Our seventh year, hard for me to believe, I worked at CBS for about 20 years before

that I worked for CNN for three years. It doesn't seem like I've been gone from CBS that

long, but anyway, starting our seventh year of original reporting and it seems to have grown

only more important as the years have gone on and the news and information online has become

more and more managed. All I tried to do on my program is to bring original information

reporting, particularly that, which is being censored or is difficult to find elsewhere. This

used to be considered just normal news reporting, but has that started to change, particularly

I think, accelerating in the 2016 time period, as political interest and corporate interest

got very aggressive, it just became harder and harder to get that reporting that gives different

viewpoints, various studies, full facts, the other side of the story. Instead, you know that

too often people are picking a side and censoring the information that disagrees with the side

that they pick. They even censor factual studies and factual information. They even call things

that are merely supported viewpoints of scientists and political figures and other notables. They

call that disinformation and they censor it if it's something they don't want you to know about.

Well, you won't find that at full measure and I think that's what sets us apart from so many

other news programs and from the other Sunday television shows. You know, the Sunday talk shows
