Welcome to episode number 999 of the Potter's cast.

Completely blown away that we have hit that number.

This is in fact the first ceramic podcast that has ever in the history of the universe ever reached that many

episodes for a ceramic podcast. Now that's not to say that I hope that I'm the only one

who ever gets here. Not at all. I am saying,

please, I hope that there are many podcasts that are ceramic based that end up coming and getting

that many episodes out there. Because we could use it. We could use that perspective from so many different points of

view. You know, when I first started the Potter's cast, there was only two other podcasts that

were actually functioning. There was the Brian R. Jones cast, who I believe was the very first real podcast, and then there was

Tales of the Red Clay Rambler. Now, if you've ever met Brian R. Jones, you're in for a treat

because that guy's amazing. And then there's Ben Carter, Tales of the Red Clay Rambler.

Completely amazing. Love those guys. But since then, there have been so many podcasts that have

just popped up specifically around pottery. And it was kind of a point at one, you know,

like back in the day, that when a podcast would go live

I would be into it I would know who it was I would I would interview the person to help launch the

show but but I was I was into like promoting other episodes other other shows to be able to get them

going because I think it's so amazing.

I think a rising tide raises the level for all boats in a harbor.
