And today being traditionally considered the epiphany, January 6th, it's a real epiphany for us to be still on the air in the year 2007.

Our guest today will be Norm Allen, author of African American Humanism, and our topic will be

atheism, free thought, and humanism among African Americans. I think our interview will dispel some assumptions.

Free Thought Radio is a production of the Freedom from Religion Foundation, and we're based here

in Madison, Wisconsin. We are working as an association of more than 8,000 atheists and agnostics across the continent and a few

foreign members of the group working to keep stayed and church separate. And as the month of

February approaches, you'll be hearing more about one of our lawsuits, the first one to actually

get to the United States Supreme Court. At the end of February,

we will have oral arguments at the Supreme Court on our case challenging the formation of

the Office of Faith-based Initiative. But before we get to some of the fun stuff on the show
