the death toll is almost certain to rise. And it wasn't even as if it wasn't expected because for two

whole days, Western intelligence had been told that this attack was imminent and very, very serious.

13 American lives had been lost. President Joe Biden threatened to hunt down those responsible

that US troops and everyone else at the airport are still vulnerable to suicide attacks,

as they are almost impossible to prevent in crowded areas where thousands of people are still awaiting rescue.
