Summary

After 9-11, the few Americans living in Afghanistan were encouraged to leave the country, for their own safety. John Weaver stayed, feeling that the ministry God called him to there was not yet completed. Listen this week as John shares about his work in Afghanistan, and the challenge of sharing the gospel and discipling new believers in a country where there is no visible church presence, and where persecution often begins with a believer’s own family members. He’ll also share the challenge of serving God in a place where it could cost your life, and how he makes the daily decision to offer his life—to live or to die—for Christ’s service. 0:07.6	God wants to draw all nations to himself, even Muslim nations. He loves Muslims. Let's ask him to pour love in our

0:23.4	If we know Muslims, co-worker, neighbor, whatever the context is here in the United States,
0:29.0	let's pray specifically for them that God would then open up opportunities for us to express

0:45.8	someone who looks a little bit differently. Sometimes it could just be saying
0:49.2	hello, how are you? Jesus never promised his followers an easy path. In fact, he told his disciples
0:57.3	that the world would hate them. He sent them out as sheep among wolves. Jesus's words came true in the life of the Apostles and
1:04.9	they're still coming true today in the lives of his followers around the world.
