Coming up on forum, California will partner with nonprofit drug maker Civica RX to produce its own insulin,

a major step in the state's ambitious plan to make low-cost

generic drugs under its own label, CalRX.

There's no state in America, none, period, not one, that comes close to doing what the state

of California has done on health care.

Governor Gavin Newsom also announced Saturday that he plans for the state to manufacture

naloxone, a drug for reversing opioid overdoses.
