Hello, friend. It's Ashley here. Today, we're going to quickly talk about

disappointment and I have a really incredible affirmation for you.

No one gets through life without feeling disappointed at one point or another.

Some disappointments, of course, are larger than others, but every single

person on this planet experiences it. With this, we can begin to normalize

the feelings of disappointment. Affirmations can help you move

through those unpleasant feelings. I would encourage you to do this

right out how you feel on a piece of paper, but there's two different quick

assignments. The first assignment is to write out exactly

what happened, exactly what happened in the scenario,

without any emotions. Imagine you're an outsider, simply writing a step-by-step

recount of the situation. What this does is it helps you have an

outsider's perspective and helps you reframe what happened.

The next simple assignment is right out how you feel. Now, this one can be

the emotional dump onto the paper. It's really important to get your emotions

out, literally out of your body. Now, last but not least, with that,

you're going to love this one. That emotional dump that you just wrote out,

you're going to tear it up into little tiny pieces of paper

and flush that shit down the toilet. Or if that's not proper for your plumbing,

then simply throw it in the trash. Burn it, do something. The point is to literally
