Did you happen to see Jaguars head coach Doug Peterson's quotes from earlier today?

Doug Peterson, I'm paraphrasing here.

I'm paraphrasing the quote, was asked, would you consider, like, if the game doesn't matter this weekend for you guys,

would you consider ever like resting your starters?

And I'm paraphrasing, but Peterson basically saying something to the extent of,

I would never consider resting players.

There's no such thing as a game that doesn't matter.

All of our starters are going to play because like, that's like the right thing to do.

Which is really funny because I remember a couple of years ago in week 17 when Peterson was the coach of the Eagles.

And the NFC East was up for grabs between the Giants and the then Washington football team.

And Doug Peterson pulled Jalen Hertz from Nate Sudfeld saying that he thought Nate Sudfeld was a future starter in the league.

Now, I'm sure that I'm sure that Doug Peterson was following orders from the GM how he rose been as the Eagles tried to improve their draft position and good on them.

It was a good strategy.

Also, this is not the like retroactively complaining that Giants deserve to make the playoffs.

They won six games, but like, okay, like Doug, if you did that, that you can't say this.
