We'll get to awards talk coming up in a little bit, but want to finish my thoughts on the

AFC East behind the Buffalo Bills. So details in the opening segment, all the reasons why I dislike the Miami Dolphins this year,

and I think I'm way right on this, not liking the Miami Dolphins.

But I want to be fair.

The same way I felt like I was fair yesterday when I said,

I don't see the Packers going to the Super Bowl this year or winning the NFC North,

but I certainly acknowledge the upside case that it could happen.

So I have to acknowledge that there is an upside case for the Miami Dolphins this year.

I don't think they're going to reach it.

I don't think that.

But there is a path.

There is a bull case to be made that the dolphins could exceed expectations this season.

And the way that happens is if the defensive front absolutely balls out.

That's like the only way it happens is if the defensive front dominates games and makes it so that the secondary doesn't get exposed because that's what I think's

going to happen all season long.

They've got really good players on the defensive line.

Like Kenneth Grant looks like a keeper, the first round defensive line, and he looks really good

thus far in preseason and training camp.

Zach Seeler is really good.

Bradley Chubb, Jalen Phillips.

It looks like the Dolphins avoided disaster today with Trop Robinson. He was carded out of practice. He posted an Instagram story saying it's not serious. So we'll see. He may be back to practice tomorrow. He can miss week one. I have no idea. There's been no firm reporting yet on Chop Robinson.
