Happy New Year, everybody. This is against everyone with Connor Beebe. Normally, this would be one of those

solo lecture episodes where I give a sort of constructed lecture to you. It's a little more polished,

but this is going to be much more like one of those against Saturday episodes. That's a little

more informal for three reasons. And they're very exciting reasons

for me. The first is that I have a huge announcement to make. And so rather than give a lecture,

I'm going to tell you a bit of a story about my life on this episode. And that'll tie into a little

bit of life advice. But this story and this thing that's going on for me

kind of overwhelms everything else that's on my mind right now.

The second is that I have an upcoming online event

on January 20th called God's Sex Death

that I need to announce today.

And the third is that this week I will be on two rather large podcasts anyway.

So you're going to get a lot of me in your ears if you're following.

So let's run those backwards.

The two podcasts I'll be on this week are Roon Soup with Gordon White.

While I'll be talking about the year ahead and what that means for us spiritually.

And then I'm also on You Made It Weird, which is Pete Holmes' podcast, the comedian and actor.

He's someone I've always wanted to talk with.

I'm a huge fan of his podcast.

A lot of my friends have been on it and he's awesome. So that
