Jimmy has been on my radar for a long time because he's one of those people that seems

to know everything about the political moment, and he's got the right analysis of it.

He is left of left. And, you know, when something comes up in the news, something topical,

whether it's about Syria or it's about elections, or it's about Trump or the sort of new liberal

savior that we're all supposed to love.

Jimmy has a really great way of sort of looking beyond the story, beyond what's just being

fed to us and saying, what's going on here?

Which is why I love talking to Jimmy so much.

She's also extremely funny.

You'll see on the show that when Jimmy gets going, the passion really just

wells up in him and he just goes right for it. And, you know, you almost can't stop himself

sometimes, which is something I really admire about him because it means his mind is always going

and he's really, really invested in this project of making the world

a better place by bringing the right, compassionate, and ethical perspective to the political

realm.
