Hello friends, it's Michael Moss, the time of year when we celebrate the strength that rises within us to overcome the challenges that face us just because we're human.

As the cold comes and the warmth goes away, we find an inner strength, and that strength unites us with the being at the center of the holiday, which is

the Archangel Mike I.L. Part of this episode, the second part, will be a repost of episode

126, in which I explain what this being is by giving perspectives, but also some examples from my own life

of how his impulses can appear to us. But I think I have to talk on this Michael Moss

about the challenges in the world in this moment as well. The people suffering in Palestine and Lebanon, people displaced and massacred,

and also the people being fired and intimidated and imprisoned for speaking out against such a massacre.

And what we can consider to strengthen our ability to encounter these challenges.

And those do relate to our spiritual life.

In fact, the spiritual life is more and more important now.

We find it especially in the hearts of those who are being besieged and attacked, being killed, being displaced.

They express so often a faith in and connection to God to Allah. So we're seeing right now that it can no longer be said

that the spiritual life is just an opiate or delusional. It is clearly strengthening those who are in need. So let's take it seriously.

First, through considering what needs to be strengthened, that is how we can celebrate Michael

Moss and the days that follow in a way that gives something to the human spirit and the spiritual life of the world,

and then through a picture of this being, the Archangel Michael.

The pictures of Michaelisle that relate most strongly to Michael Moss,

and these are images which I'll go into much more deeply in the second part of this episode are generally of an archangel standing with its foot upon a dragon or a devil he is

holding a sword above his head or sometimes a spear having defeated the dragon so first to say

the dragon the dragon without again going into too much detail here, is the force in our lives that deadens the world, that makes the world inert.

It's the force that tells us that there is no real spiritual life. There's nothing there. That life is made out of things. The world is an object

made out of objects. The dragon has a message for us, sitting upon its vast stores of gold.
