Hello, this is against everyone with Connor Habib.

Friends, we are always in a time of chaos and violence,

0:08.9

and we certainly are right now the day this episode is airing.

0:14.5

But when we notice that we are in a time of chaos and violence,

0:19.1

when we see it, when it bubbles over into ethnic cleansing

0:24.2

or wars or murders, massacres, when it seems to us

0:28.8

that our governments and institutions are only supporting

0:31.4

that chaos and violence, our interstate can shift

1:54.6

psychotic sometimes, not the romanticized version of psychosis where the person who has schizophrenia has access to special mystical knowledge.

2:07.5

That romanticization of someone suffering is not what I'm aiming for here, but rather the notion that we don't have to have some kind of reverence for reality the way

2:20.8

it is and instead can see it not compulsively, like someone who's dealing directly with mental

2:28.1

illness, but rather intentionally in the terms which we set, not ones that are just set for us.
