in an engaging and accessible way. Well, friends, I'm going to start this episode with two

real ghost stories. The first is kind of a frightening one.

When I lived in San Francisco, my boyfriend at the time had an apartment in a kind of run-down building that was in the Mission District.

And after he moved in, someone told him, oh, that place, wasn't somebody murdered there?

And indeed, some weird things started to happen.

One of the things that happened was, you know, when we went back into his apartment one day,

there was just a red ribbon line on the floor of his apartment.

It was inexplicable how it got there.

It was very strange.

One day, he came home and the shower was running, and we thought, did someone break in and take a shower?

We couldn't quite figure it out.

On top of that, there was always this sort of uneasy feeling in the bedroom of his apartment.

And anyway, he became increasingly disconcerted with how that all felt.

And I couldn't blame him. So I went to investigate a little bit, sort of behind his back.

And I didn't want to scare him more, you know, by finding out details because he was already extremely freaked out.

So I asked around and I found somebody who knew the guy who was murdered.

And what he told me really did send a chill up my spine. He said, oh, yeah, I know him,

because I had discovered the guy's name. Oh, I knew him. because I discovered the guy's name.

Oh, I knew him.

He was a sweet guy.
