Hello, everybody and welcome to our AEW Russell Dream review. I am John Pollock and back for the second night in a row. He is John Sino. Hello, John. How are you?

I'm doing good. How are you doing today, John?

I'm doing well. We have just, well, we have a fantastic show, I think, to run through tonight. And of course, the headline news that Adam Copeland, the rated our superstar, Adam Copeland, making his debut in AEW was this unexpected debut for you.

Going into tonight's show, John?

I think so as all the pieces and the puzzles kind of came together. We had like the talk of him since contracting WB coming to an end and then the rumors of him coming over.

And then once they kind of started hyping up this Christian cage, Darby Allen match and once they said it was in a main event, I'm like, okay, this is obvious.

And then they kind of like took a while at the end, but you could tell it was definitely going to happen for sure when it did happen.

They over delivered more than I expected. Obviously, we'll get into it, but we're keeping the music and the nickname and everything.

This is like pretty much edge, just Adam Copeland now.

Yeah, I think that, you know, when you have a licensed song, it gives you the opportunity to have some wiggle room here.

I'll be quite honest, and maybe I'm in the minority. I just think like the name edge, if that's the one thing you've got to lose out of this whole thing, I think at this point in time, I don't see it as this giant sacrifice that you're giving up.

In terms of like the fact that he's obviously got the rate at our superstar moniker that I would say is just maybe more valuable for your merchandising and such.

That I mean, it's a very easy transition. This is not one where it's you're trying to create something that it was so synonymous that you're losing, for instance.

That's what I was most surprised about was the rate of our superstar nickname. I'm like, when taciton on commentary, I was like, oh, maybe he's not supposed to say that.

But then when Tony comp at the graphics saying the rate of our superstar Adam Copeland is obviously that is something that is safe, safe property for them.

Well, I know is if I'm Tony Kimmel right now, I'm just like waiting for that phone call like, hey, listen, like this is my spot to start saying the introduction for the rate of our superstar again.

Very very possible. Okay, we're going to be getting into the whole review. I'm going to let people know that tonight.
