I think it was the fashion of which it happened and even the referee for the match Bryce Remsburg seemed when MGF didn't get his arm up for the third time while he was in the

Kocina clutch even he seems surprised and not in a way like I don't know it's like the arm fell

and Bryce made a face and then asked for the bell like there was hesitation there like

something was weird about it. Yeah it felt like the actual finish like

usually matches build a sort of a crescendo and I feel like you know if we're talking about the

match specifics real quick the crescendo was sort of sacrificed for the story beat which was

coal fumbling for the ring giving Joe time to hit

MJF with the with the choke and then and then it was like just the match was

done and you're right the referee's reaction was a bit on the confusing side it

lacked that sort of moment that it was like oh my god but also I think our our

expectations are lack thereof of Joe winning this match played into it as well.

We sort of, we went over this as a possible scenario, but it seemed more likely that the Devil's storyline sort of needed the title because otherwise why

would Adam Cole be the devil?
