This is your AEW Rampage Review for Friday, October 8, 2021.

Happy Friday, I am the Salamonster, coming off a hot dynamite on Wednesday with a return

of the Hangman Adam Page, winning the casino ladder match on Wednesday that earns him the

right to challenge for the AEW Championship at some point down the road, but what we found

out tonight is that next week on Dynamite, we're going to get the brackets for this year's

World Title Eliminator, which is starting, they did the same thing last year. That's how

we got to Hangman and Omega in the finals at full gear. They're doing the same thing

this year, which is very interesting. In fact, they announced some other interesting matches

coming up for TV next week. We'll get into all that. As far as tonight's show is concerned,

I thought this was one of the better episodes of Rampage that they've done since the

show got started in August. The Jade Cargill match was basically, I mean, it was a glorified

squash. The other matches on the show, the actual competitive matches, I thought were all

good to very good. In fact, the CM Punk Daniel Garcia match, that was about as good as punk

as looks since coming back to wrestling. So on the whole, I thought this was an enjoyable

hour. The keyword there is hour. It passes quickly to easy watch. That's what I like about

it. Excalibur, Taz and Chris Jericho were on commentary tonight. Yes, Chris Jericho was back.

And during the, I believe it was during the tag team match with the Jade Cargill match,

I might have been during the tag team match. He was quite, quite loud, quite loud and obnoxious,

but that was our booth tonight. No Ricky Starks because Ricky Starks was in the men event,

which was a Philadelphia street fight, which we'll talk about. Shout out to KC to most.

Let me get a sound off superstar. They opened with Mark Henry doing his weekly on-screen promo.
