I am the solomonser and this is your AEW Dynamite review for Wednesday, March 23rd, 2022, 25 years

to the day of one of the greatest matches in wrestling history, the submission match between

Brett the Hitman heart and Stone Cold Steve Austin, a WrestleMania 13 tonight was kind

of like a Bret Hart appreciation night on Dynamite.

We saw a lot of Hitman influence here up and down the show tonight.

And speaking of Austin, AEW was back in Texas for the second straight week, of course,

last week.

AEW was in Thunder Rose's hometown of San Antonio for her big women's championship

win in the Steel Cage over Dr. Britt Baker, DMD, who was not on the show tonight.

But tonight we had an excellent, I would say, first 80, 80 minutes or so of the show,

maybe 90.

And I wasn't as fond of those last 20, 25 minutes, half hour maybe of the show, definitely

not as strong as the first part of it.

But I thought overall it was a really fun show, highlighted by some really fun matches

we opened actually with a great pro wrestling match between CM Punk and Dax Harwood, two

guys who know how to work.

You put them together one on one, they had a great match, I thought the insanity of

the Texas tornado match, I know we had one already at Revolution a few weeks ago.

This one was not all that different, but I had a lot of fun watching it.

And of course, Adam Cole and Jay Lethal, two former Ring of Honor world champions going

at it, toe to toe, showing what they can do in that ring tonight.

And hopefully, and I showcase for Jay Lethal, two show people that hey, I'm here, hello.
