I'm Adam Wilborn from What Culture, joined by the Lodont Gordia. It's look ahead to tonight's episode of AEW Dynamite. As said, though, joined by Michael Sidrick's look ahead to AEW Dynamite. It's a while since we've done one of these. Indeed, absolutely. I think people have asked for my broad thouts on AEW since these have all been in Las Vegas. A lot has changed. A lot has changed. We touched upon it on the Q&A. But if you miss that, I'll just give you an overview, I guess. I didn't like the Derby Allen title win, but the rain so far has been awesome, and I love the idea of it,

and that should continue tonight while I'm at it.

As I said on the Q&A, it just felt too obviously framed as a nice sentimental moment.

That's not going to last.

I get it.

It's not meant to last.

It's a perfect vehicle for the Darby Allen character, and that he not going to last. I get it. It's not meant to last. And it's a perfect vehicle for

the Derby Allen character and that he's earned this win by staying over for seven years, which as we've

discussed is really freaking difficult. And it's no, like, I sometimes feel like a dick for being

bored by certain aspects of AEW programming. Like, I'm Orange Cassidy I'm kind of I'm done with it

but it's seven years of a similar thing and there's been some great character development within

that like the international title reign but ultimately seven years is a long long long long time so

fair play at Derby he's just so inherently fantastic,

especially when he stripped back

and not, you know, trying to bomb the venue of dynamite

on any giving week with a Molotov cocktail.

That he deserves this.

I just thought the win was a bit...

so he could tell what was happening. It was heavily reported to be happening and I guess an issue with that is... You literally called it on the preview we recorded on the Tuesday. We did, but... I mean, I was putting two and two together to a degree, but also Andrew Zarian from Matt Men had already sort of indicated yep, this is what's going to happen Darby Allen's
