Only three days out from Christmas and tonight AEW presented its holiday bash from the Greensboro

Coliseum, a venue that has hosted a lot of classic professional wrestling over these

many years.

First three or four is a three or four, I think four actually first four starcade events,

including the very first one back in 1983.

First ever clash of the champion show back in 88, which featured staying, challenging

for the World Heavyweight title in the main event, that was the night that Rick Flair

made Sting.

And they went to a 45-minute draw that night in that building.

Sting was back in Greensboro tonight for the first time since 1994, teaming with Derby

Allen and CM Punk in the main event against MJFTR, including one of the most horrifying

moments of the year, where Sting nearly murdered MJF.

There was a legitimately terrifying spot.

It is a miracle that MJF did not break his neck in that main event.

That was very scary.

We also had an undisputably wise debut for Kyle O'Reilly tonight.

He is officially all elite.

He was, in fact, the Christmas surprise that Adam Cole teased last week for the young

bucks that he was going to have for them.

He didn't say what it was going to be.

But I told you what it was going to be, and sure enough, Santa delivered.
