What was supposed to be the summer of punk has turned into the fall of punk in the most disgraceful and embarrassing 72 hour period in the history of AEW.

This has been the most chaotic week in AEW history and it's not even a full week yet, but already it has been the most chaotic week.

Tony Khan, you know, a few weeks ago, I mentioned I said, boy, this is this is great news for Tony Khan because he had all of these big names that have been out with injuries.

See, I'm punk was out. Kenny Omega was still out.

Samoa Joe, although, you know, he was out not injured, but he came back recently from the TV gig he was filming.

Adam Cole is still out, although he's expected to be back soon.

MJF has been out for a few months, and so he was starting to get back all of the big pieces of his roster at the same time.

Omega came back, CM Punk came back, right, he got his champion back, MJF came back on Sunday, and it looked like things were really starting to fall into place heading into the fall for the AEW roster.

Now in one fell swoop, he loses CM Punk, Kenny Omega, and the young bucks for an unspecified period of time.

One of the odd things about everything that has gone on in the last few days, everybody was waiting until Dynamite tonight to see what would the announcement be that Tony Khan was going to make.

But who would be suspended as somebody going to be fired? We didn't hear a single word mentioned at all tonight on the show about CM Punk about the elite.

Anybody that was involved in what went down on Sunday, their names were not even mentioned once.

So if you are somebody who was an AEW fan, and if you watch the shows, but you have no, you're not really into all the internet stuff, you're not following on social media every little thing that happens.

Boy, it must have felt like you were in a completely different world tuning into the show tonight because not only was there no CM Punk and was there no elite.

All of a sudden these championships that they won on Sunday were vacant, and we were crowning new champions, and there was no mention made of what happened to the old champions.

It's almost like you, you may be lapsed into a coma and you feel like you woke up and you're in a completely different time period.

That was a little weird. The Tony Khan did make an announcement tonight, which he had to, we made an announcement as it relates to the championships.
