A couple of months ago, Conrad Thompson, he was hosting an episode of Jim Ross's

podcast, he and J.R. were talking, and he dropped a little bit of tea during that show and he said that a mutual friend of theirs

had heard from somebody that Shane McMahon had reached out to someone on the AEW roster and he had reached out to somebody

on the roster about hypothetically discussing the possibility of coming into the company.

Dave Melzer had followed up that report.

He said it was really just two people chatting.

There really was nothing serious to the conversation. but it was something to the effect of

Shane saying to this person, can you imagine the reaction if I were to show up one

week randomly on dynamite.

It wasn't meant to be a serious thing.

So when Melzer asked Tony Con about Shane,

Melzer, you know, asked him anything to this, have you had any meetings or discussions

with Shane McMahon? Khan had told him that he never met him before.

He never met him. He had never spoken to him, which at the time was was true as far as anybody knows

Then a few weeks ago we had Mercedes Monet who just so happens to bump into who at the airport

Shane McMahon she wrote about it in her newsletter a chance meeting with

Shane McMahon then this morning, Dynamite, of course, tonight facing competition from the Olympics,

as most shows are this week.

And they also have their television rights deal hanging in the balance, right, any day now, any week now, we're going to hear something most likely about A.W. renewing with Warner Brothers Discovery for how long and for how much we don't know.

But news on that deal I would expect is coming imminently.

Imminently can mean days or weeks.

But with all of that kind of hanging over things,
