One week after AEW announced an anarchy in the arena match for the third year in a row, a double or nothing.

We already have a change in the lineup due to injury. Eddie Kingston, Brian

Danielson, FTR against the elite. That was the lineup that was announced last

week. This past weekend Eddie Kingston defended his new Japan strong open weight title against Gabe Kidd at the new Japan Resurgent show and on that show he lost his championship but also in the course of losing his title in that match, he suffered a leg injury.

When he was suplexed outside the ring, his legs smacked the guardrail hard.

And it was pretty apparent that he was not in a good way.

It just so happened though that the elite showed up.

After the match, the Young Bucks first appearance at a New Japan show in five years,

they attacked Eddie Kingston, so it all kind of fits

because Eddie Kingston is out unfortunately from the double or nothing match in

fact he just posted a photo, I believe on his Instagram,

showing himself in a wheelchair with his entire leg in a brace. And the word on the street

is that he may be gone for several months.

So best wishes to Eddie Kingston. Hopefully he'll get back soon enough, but he is out.

And so the question now is, what happens to his spot at double or nothing?

And we didn't have to wait very long to find out.

They teased it early in the show.

Oh, it's going to be four on three, maybe Team AW would have to forfeit.
