Tonight on Dynamite, we found out what the main event of AEW Dynasty is going to be.

We had Kenny Omega and Swerve Strickland.

We had some actual stakes on the line here in this match.

Swerve Strickland putting his number one contendership up for grabs in exchange,

Kenny Omega putting his EVP power on the line.

Now, what that even means, we don't know.

They never did articulate exactly what that would entail. But whatever the case may be,

both men put something up in this match, and it will be Kenny Omega, challenging MJF in Vancouver

next month for the AEW World Championship.

The first time that we are seeing this match in a good three years or so, maybe two and a half years.

It's been a while.

MJF won the first one, so now we're finally getting the rematch.

As far as the match tonight between Swerve and Omega, the biggest surprise is the fact that they opened the show with it and didn't close the show with it, which in hindsight they should

have done, you could see why they didn't because they wanted Omega to come out and confront

MJF, so we had a little face-to-face. But, you know, coming out of this match now, we have a

situation where Kenny Omega is going

to get a championship match in Vancouver. Kenny will be challenging for the world title in Canada

and as tempting as it may be to have Kenny Omega finish his story and put the AW

AW world title on him up north, I think that would be a mistake.

I'm not expecting it to happen.

It's not something I think should happen.

I am looking forward to the match.
