Solomonster reviews AEW Dynamite from Austin, TX with a GREAT angle involving MJF and Hangman Adam Page, where it all should lead and what it means for Jeff Jarrett... plus, Adam Copeland STEALS Jon Moxley's briefcase, The Hurt Syndicate defend the AEW tag team titles, Megan Bayne gets her first real rival and more.  As a go-home show to Grand Slam, it was pretty weak, but on the whole, this was another solid effort coming off a strong week of TV.

A.W is riding a little bit of a momentum wave after a couple of really good shows last week with dynamite and collision.

0:09.9

Tonight's show, not live.

0:11.4

It was taped last night in Austin, Texas, because much of the crew on their way to Australia, because this weekend is Grand Slam.

0:21.2

And that's going to be airing on TNT on Saturday.

0:24.2

Now, at what time we don't know?

0:25.5

Whenever the NBA stuff is over, that is when Grand Slam will be airing.

0:29.5

The question is, did they keep the momentum going this week?

0:33.9

You could have one great week, but that doesn't really mean much if you come back the

0:37.8

following week and have a terrible show. So did they keep the momentum going? I think they did,

0:43.8

but it was not as good as either dynamite or collision from last week. And I will say that as a go-home

0:50.4

show to Grand Slam, I thought it was pretty weak. We had a few people on the show tonight that are actually on the card on Saturday.

0:58.9

The majority of the people on the show were ghosts tonight, outside of vignettes or backstage promos.

1:05.5

Many of them were not there.

1:07.0

They were not really on the show tonight.

1:09.4

As a standalone show on its own, I enjoyed it for the

1:12.4

most part. One too many squash matches for my liking on what is supposed to be there, a show.

1:19.3

But more of the death riders this week, and this was the big change. One of the things that I really

1:24.2

liked about Dynamite last week was the fact that they kept the death riders contained to one segment on the show.

1:31.6

They kept them contained to the opening segment.

1:34.1

And there was nothing wrong with it.

1:36.0

And then they moved on.

1:37.4

And there were plenty of other things to enjoy on the show last week.
