Tonight was the post-full-gear episode of AEW Dynamite coming off of the pay-per-view from

Saturday night.

It was also the kickoff for this year's Continental Classic, and that was really the story

of tonight's show.

And also inserting bigger names into the world title picture, which is something that we saw

at the end of full gear on Saturday nights.

One of the things I like the most about the angle they did to close the show.

I know a lot of people didn't like it.

It was very polarizing.

I actually thought that it was smart for them to do what they did there because all of a

sudden now, beyond just Orange Cassidy and Darby Allen, we have a whole bunch of

different people who are in the conversation when it comes to John Moxley and the

AW World Title.

And we had a little bit more of that on the show tonight.

But really, the show was carried by the Continental Classic.
