Today is the one year anniversary since the passing of Jay Brisco.

38 years old, it was one year ago today.

I was streaming right here on this channel when the news came in and broke live.

One of the saddest stories, unfortunately not the only major loss but one of the

saddest stories to come out of wrestling in 2023 and tonight on dynamite

Mark Briscoe walked out on stage and he introduced Jay Brisko's kids, his son and his two daughters, including the daughter who the older daughter who they said might never walk again. She walked out there on stage

tonight during dynamite. One of the most emotional moments that you will ever

see on a wrestling television show. It's an amazing moment, bittersweet and sad, but also something

that was great to see because honestly we hadn't heard much of anything about

the daughters since last year. We know that they were you know very badly injured and they were in the

hospital they got released from the hospital and there really haven't been very many

updates on them since then so to see them on the show tonight with smiles on their faces being able to walk out there

side by side with their uncle.

It was just one of those moments that was very, very cool.

As sad as the story is, you know, one year later, still a very, very awesome moment.

What else was awesome tonight was the main event, which was Samoa Joe defending the AEW World Heavyweight Championship

against the 28 and 1 hook.
