AEW hosted double or nothing yesterday.

It is now Memorial Day.

Five and a half hours.

If you include the pre-show, five and a half hours,

has to be the longest double or nothing that AEW has ever done.

But I can happily tell you that it was a very good show with an outstanding main event.

That is the match that I was most looking forward to.

It took five hours to get there.

The match I was waiting for was Will Osprey and Hangman Page in the finals of the Owen Hart tournament

to find out who would go on to challenge John Moxley for the AW World Championship in Texas at all in.

And we now have our answer.

And the answer is the cowboy.

Kind of surprising.

Could have gone either way. I said coming in, I don't really mind. Kind of surprising. Could have gone either way.

I said coming in, I don't really mind either one of these guys winning,

but I had convinced myself that Osprey was winning that this tournament was his to lose,

that it would be him going to the main event in Texas, but I was wrong.

And Hangman got his moment, and he's going to get his bigger moment

in July. He doesn't mean he's going to win. Because honestly, as time goes on here, I am less and less

convinced that the title change is actually going to be happening on that show now that a certain

someone is climbing down from the mountain. This may all be for not.
