more than 85% of the watts we are spending are spent fighting the wind, okay, fighting air resistance.

Hello and welcome back to another episode of That Traathlon show, the podcast presented by Scientific Triathlon.com. As always, I'm your host, Michael, and I know that I said at the end of last episode that I think I did, at least, that

0:40.9

this episode would be about training zones.

0:43.7

But I actually changed my mind because I had an interview scheduled with a listener of the show,

0:52.1

Nuno Praseres, who sent me an email and we had a really good conversation

0:57.2

about things that he has done to reduce his aerodynamic drag on the bike and save power

1:06.1

and increase his speed on the bike without necessarily increasing his fitness just by paying attention

1:11.7

to detail and using the right gear and also positioning and all sorts of things. So he had a list

1:20.1

of 11 points that we went through in the interview. And I think that this chat was so good that I

1:26.1

wanted to get it out as soon as possible.

1:29.1

So I changed the order around.

1:30.7

We will definitely talk about training zones in an upcoming episode.

1:35.2

But today we will talk about how to improve your aerodynamics and save power on the bike.

1:42.5

And most of these things that we talk about are things that you can do

1:46.4

for free. They just take some sweat equity or time and not necessarily any monetary investments.

1:54.8

So that was good. And if you like Nuno have a great story or something that you just think it's interesting and that

2:04.5

the listeners should know feel free always to write me an email to michael at scientific triathlon

2:11.1

dot com michael with a k as usual and we can see if if your story is good or you have something interesting to share,

2:19.7

then definitely I'm, as you see in this episode, very much open to getting listeners on the show.

2:26.1

And that's something that I enjoy. I actually don't think that I've had a single interview

2:29.8

so far that has been as enjoyable as the one with Nuno. It was very, very good to talk to Nuno.
