The the Oh, Onward through our fire and blood journey we continue.

Aegon's conquest took a lot of preparation, though perhaps less than one would normally guess at for an endeavor of this magnitude.

Perhaps surprisingly as well, he announced his claim on the Seven Kingdoms

before making the vast majority of those preparations.

He didn't even give himself time to gear up before putting everyone on notice. Was that a mistake? If so, not one that made a lot of difference. It still all worked out pretty well. But I do rather believe it to be consistent with his actions throughout both the conquest and his

reign. He always projects an era an era too an aura of superiority. He never treats anyone like an equal even those who may appear to be

stronger. He just sets about proving that no they were not in fact stronger he was the

one that was stronger and this is it comes up in a lot of different ways not just

militaristically politically intrigue everything just everything about Aegon suggests

superiority you won't be his ally, you will bend the knee, or else.

He doesn't use a lot of deception or cunning,

he uses some.

But mostly he just comes right at you there's definitely a method to this

boss attitude which is that no one afterwards can claim that he isn't the strongest

he leaves no doubt and it worked he intended for everyone to be in

awe of what he and his family and their dragons could do which is a testament to holding peace for the long term.

No one's going to challenge that.

Well, then things are going to stay peaceful.

Throughout this episode and going forward,

we'll see just how Egon does it.

We'll keep an eye on his strategy and all the nuances within because it sounds very straightforward, but it's an intelligent thing. It's an intelligent plan.
