Summary

Today's episode is a little advice for anyone who is just starting to find their way in this world. The problem people often run into when starting their new business, passion or endeavor is that they don't feel like they are in a position to speak because they are new and inexperienced. While it is true that you aren't a professional, it doesn't mean you have nothing to talk about. You can talk about how you are new and document your process of learning. Don't fake it and pretend that you know what you are talking about when you don't. Document your journey of becoming an expert and then once you are knowledgeable, then you can speak from that perspective.

0:14.0	So you GaryVee, for anybody that's watching, got me kicked out of Bible college, listening to GaryVee.
0:21.2	Was it the cursing?
0:23.6	No, it's totally cool.
0:26.8	But about four or five years ago, I was in Bible college studying, I was actually studying secondary education,
0:35.2	and then everybody has to have like a core of biblical studies.
0:39.0	Everybody's basically a double major.
0:41.3	So essentially, I wanted to either be a high school teacher,
0:45.7	or I wanted to go out and be a youth pastor and just really have fun with kids, play games.
0:50.3	Like who doesn't want to do that?
0:51.2	Like who doesn't want to be the guy that gets to that?
0:53.7	For playing games and like, you know, teaching kids.
0:57.2	And so about two, no, a year in, I found just a random video of yours and started listening to your content.
1:05.4	And I feel like God in life was like, okay, you don't want to do with this man saying,
1:11.0	so we're about to force you to do it.
1:12.5	And it was right around the time where you were talking about that whole self-evaluation thing.
1:16.4	You know, if college isn't for you, like don't run yourself into that.
1:20.3	Go back home, live with your mom, like go, go stack your money, figure out what you're going to do.
1:25.4	I was hearing it, but I was so scared to do it.
1:29.4	Dare to that, of course, it takes courage to live the life you want.
