Tonight we are reminded of our nation's path and a new surge of optimism is placing

impossible dreams firmly within our grasp.

My economic team is developing historic tax reform that will reduce the tax rate on our

companies at the same time we will provide massive tax relief for the middle class. we must create a level playing field for American

companies and our workers. This effort will be guided by two core principles.

Buy American and higher American. I will be asking Congress to

approve legislation that produces a one trillion dollar investment in infrastructure of the United States financed through both

public and private capital, creating millions of new jobs.

I am asking all citizens to join me in dreaming big for our country.

Sleep tight everyone and sweet dreams.

But sometimes when we go to sleep instead of dreams we have nightmares.

We need to see the policy before we know. We have to understand if that's going to get through Congress.

I think we just have to be if that's going to get through Congress.

I think we just have to be realistic that this is likely to be a sluggish growth environment

still.
