The story centers on an impending crisis that people just

capital in the world have to retire and the problem is the pensions

that they have accumulated generally are underfunded and that's meant that these guys probably

don't have enough money to retire.

Now this isn't just a story about finance.

This is a story about people and their families.

People who've worked their entire lives counting on a system that was designed to fail.

And right now, pensions around the world are facing a staggering $75 trillion in unfunded liabilities.

And that's just basically fancy accounting jargon for a mountain of broken promises.

Broken promises when combined with underfunded pensions in the US alone,

75 million baby boomers will be retiring in the coming decade and a half and will be relying

on their pensions and investments to live out their golden years as they had envisioned.

On the one hand you've got somebody who is legitimately saying my wife chose to work in education

and she was made this promise of a pension throughout her career and she has legitimately and legally

earned every single penny that's been promised to her.
