But our guest on today's episode recently returned from an eight-night Adventure of the Sea

sailing and he's sharing why he booked this cruise, what he did on shore, and on board in this

week's episode.

With so many Royal Caribbean ships to consider these days, it can be somewhat overwhelming,

especially in the wintertime when a lot of ships return to North America after spending

some time overseas.

And today, we're actually talking about one of those ships that does, it seems like all

over the place. And that is Royal Caribbean's Adventure of the Seas. And joining me on today's show is one

of our podcast listeners, Kurt Pressure, joining us here from beautiful and exotic Maryland. Kurt,

welcome to the podcast. Hi, Matt. Nice to be here. Absolutely, glad to have you on here. And, Kurt, I love this interview idea because you reached out to me and you told me that you went on Adventure of the Seas. Not terribly surprising you'd reach out to me about a cruise. You just went on. But you said, you began her email with me saying, you rediscovered cruising after several years. Can you talk a little bit about what took you away and what brought you back?

Well, when my kids were younger, we sailed Disney. I think we were on three different

sailings, and I did not expect to like cruising. And when I was scheduling one, a travel agent convinced me to do a seven night instead of the

toll in the water four night, and I just loved it.

So after we'd done those, I found some bargain cruises on celebrity, and we'd done it on a carnival.

And then not long after that, we did a mariner of the sea cruise.

And that was just above and beyond because of the promenade, which was really new at that time.

So then I had a little bit of a gap and moved to the Maryland area, sailed out of Baltimore on Enchantment when it was
