Carnival's brand ambassador John Heald when we were on Carnival's sunrise, well, like literally

hours ago. Also, staff writer Richard Sims is here with Cruise News and a review of Royal Caribbean's Adventure of the Seas.

All right, Richard, this first story is going to impact thousands of cruisers.

Yeah, and they're not going to be happy about it.

Right about now, a whole lot of Norwegian cruise line guests are being notified via letter that their sailings on board the Norwegian Viva have been canceled.

That's because they're actually canceling three months' worth of sailings out of San Juan

in order to reposition the vessel to Miami where it will do a series of short cruises to the Caribbean.

The letter being sent out reads in part, and I'm quoting here,

while we try to maintain original itineraries as much as possible, at times modifications are made to optimize

voyages due to changing port availability. It goes on to say that it is this port availability

issue that's causing the sailings between November of 2027 and late January of 2028 to be canceled.
