Well, my first bike trip was when I was in my first summer holiday at university and I

cycled knowing absolutely nothing at all over the caracol mountains from Pakistan to China.

And that just opened my eyes to how crazy and wonderful and addictive the world was,

and also how amazingly easy it is to ride over the caracol mountains.

If only you just jump on a plane and turn up there with a bicycle.
