Summary

Today is the first day in our Advent series! Advent is a season of anticipation...a season of waiting. The Israelites waited hundreds of years for the Messiah to appear, and when He did, He came as a baby, wrapped in swaddling clothes. Today, those who follow Jesus are also in a season of waiting...we await the second coming of Jesus, when He will return and make all things new. Until then, we remember His first coming and say with anticipation, "Come Lord Jesus, come!"
