stretch, and I will be on the road the entire week to help me out, I've asked some of our favorite, give him 15

Hello, Larry Sparks here serving as your guest host for Give Him 15 today, and I've got a special entry called Advent Awakening. Heaven makes the first move.

Throughout church history, the great moves of God have been collisions of two non-negotiable elements,

the sovereignty of God and the stewardship of man. God moved, yes, but I'm convinced that the

supernatural intensity of revival is the result of a collision between humankind moving towards

God. You know, often people are praying for or waiting for a move of God. When they fail to

realize, God has already made the first move, and he's an extending an invitation to you and I.

There are three key biblical illustrations that showcase how God has definitively moved towards

humankind through the man and Messiah Christ Jesus.

These three things are, number one, the incarnation, which we celebrate this time of year.

Number two, the torn veil.

And number three, the upper room, the day of Pentecost.

Let's start with the incarnation.

John 1, verse 14, says, so the word became human and made his home among us.

He was full of unfailing love and faithfulness.

And we have seen his glory, the glory of the father's one

and only son. You know, during Christmas time, we celebrate the ultimate move of God, the word

condescending from heaven, taking upon himself frail humanity and serving as the Messiah man,
