I'm so excited for today's episode because there's this line of scripture that I've never read before my whole life.

Let's first start with a line of scripture that everyone's heard a billion times.

John 316, God so loved the world that he gave his only son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.

1 John 4A says God is love.

And here he so loved the world.

And I remember hearing this for the first time from Piper.

The God so loved the world doesn't mean it's not about the amount that he loved the world.

It's his way of loving the world.

He loved it so, like in this way.

He so loved it.

He loved it in this way that he gave his only son. That is a, that, that love from God was costly. So that's the first thing. I'm going to think about that a lot this Christmas, that God so loved the world that he did all this. So when you, when you hear the Christmas story and all this stuff,

this is proof of God's love.

This is how he loved us.

And he did this amazing thing for me, a sinner.
