Welcome back to what have you December 6th.

You've opened the door and here you are on the 6th.

Here we are. I hope you realize that's a quarter of the way through to Christmas Eve.

Don't rub in the deadlines that we're passing every day,

but day six of celebratory preparedness in anticipation. We're talking today about a tradition that you have

stuck with. What's a tradition you've stuck with? So a tradition that we started

when the kids were really little and we really really little and we really just kind of still do it.

It's Christmas Eve.

Usually after we get home from all the, because we have Christmas Eve festivities and

there's a Christmas Eve service and dinner with cousins and you know there's just all this stuff.

But before bed, I would always give the kids and Ben each a little gift that was their Christmas

Eve gift that would be like PJs or slippers or it was usually something related to that.

You know what I mean?

And generally, I don't have those under the tree.

They come out from like in my closet or something that may show up Christmas Eve.

And when the kids were little we would do a little bit of chocolate and

champagne for, well Ben and I would have some champagne and then I don't know we might have given the kids a sip but they weren't glugging down the champagne but now we do that we poor champagne we have

Also now they're not glugging the champagne they're not glugging. They're not glugging.

Sipping the champagne. Very elegantly. But it's just kind of a fun just before bed, you know. It's just sort of wraps it up and everybody has something fun in the morning like

PJ pants or slippers or you know just something fun and it's always a pain when I

realize oh my word I haven't gotten that yet you know because it's it's usually

not on my front burner but I feel like we always end up doing it because somewhere
