week four of Advent, tidings of comfort and joy. And this is Christmas week in our reading.

Y'all, I am thrilled to tell you that our dear friends, E.J. and Janice Gaines are with us.

They've each been on the podcast before, but they are just a

married couple who lay here in Nashville. We got to be in the room with them, and they exist

kind of at the intersection of faith and music and culture and family, and they brought so much

to this conversation. You are going to get some bonus content of just some fun chit-chat with friends.

And I really do believe that this conversation is going to prepare your heart for the week

and for the beauty that lay ahead of you this week with the Christmas story. So without further

ado, let's get right to it. And thus we begin. Yes. The Christmas week of the She Reads Truth podcast. Yes. I love it. I mean, y'all welcome. I'm so glad you're here. We are so glad to be here. We're honored to be here. Yeah, this is one of those that's like, you know, oh, absolutely we're doing this. This is on the counter. It was a no-brainer. So, thank you for having us. We, we, we, I know that our invitation comes with homework. And so, thank you for, but it's good. I needed it. I needed it. I needed it in this time. And I think most people, you know, listening and engaging with this will resonate with it. It's like, you can never get tired of the story of Christ being born and what it meant and means for us today.

And so especially with the world the way things are right now with division and with questions and uncertainty, I just needed to know, right, Emmanuel, Son God, with us, peace on earth.

And he came.

So it's like, you know what?

Yeah, give me this homework.

Give me this homework. This is homework I will take. Yes. That end. The beauty of Christmas is that

you remind it to not be afraid of the darkness, right? Amen. Because the light has truly come.

And so there is nothing to be afraid of that will last beyond being with him.
