And I are both members of the San Diego Rose Society, but she also is a rising star with

So Beth, we have talked quite a bit about roses, of course, but a lot of it is the basics,

how to start caring for them, how to plant and how to fertilize them, this sort of thing.

As you grow in your rose journey, how much crazier does it get?

Because I have a feeling that it gets quite crazy and there's some really advanced tips.

Good question.

Yes, it can get crazy, just like any other plant out there, like you could be an expert

at any plant, like orchids.

But with roses, there's basically three levels.

There's beginner, there's novice, and then there's expert.

There's not a lot of in between, between novice and expert, because once a novice starts

to really pick up speed and learn the basics, they become an expert within one to two years

if they really, you know, read up and attend webinars and attend local society meetings.

So I love being kind of at the level just under some of the most advanced rose growers

in our local area.

I am definitely not the best rose grower.
