Good morning y'all. My name is Joshua Rogg.

My wife, Kaylee and I have been members at this campus about four years.

We've gotten the opportunity to serve in both home groups and then steps.

This morning I'm going to be reading from Romans 8, 14 through 17.

For all who are led by the Spirit of God, our sons of God,

for you did not receive the Spirit of slavery to fall back into fear,

but you have received the Spirit of adoption as sons by whom we cry,

the Father, the Spirit Himself bears witness with our Spirit that we are children of God.

And if children, then heirs, heirs of God, and fellow heirs with Christ,

provided we suffer with him in order that we may also be glorified with him.

This is the word of the Lord.

Well, good morning. I love you.

I've got to address some things that I wish I didn't have to address.

I wish we could just dive into Romans 8 and we could look at what it means to be adopted

as sons and daughters as an angle on the gospel of Jesus Christ.

And I need to talk about the civil case that was brought against the village church

back in 2019.
