One of the most sobering sediments in politics in recent years was something I heard

former Vice President Mike Pence point out recently at a speech he gave for students for life.

He said that the number of families choosing abortion is roughly the same as the number of families hoping to adopt.

This is a tragedy that adoption still has a stigma

and the process to adopt is often extremely complicated and very expensive. Today's guest is

working to change that. Heather Melott created Adoption Finder, a tool designed to bridge the gap between

adopting families and unexpected pregnancy. Heather is the founder, the president, and the visionary

behind adoption founder. Her journey in founding the organization started in 2019 and has been driven

by an unwavering passion to make a positive impact by helping women with unexpected pregnancy,

creating families, supporting foster care youth, and saving lives from abortion. Heather,

thank you so much for joining me today. I really appreciate it. Yeah,

thank you so much for having us. It's an honor. Well, you know, this is something that is,

you know, every pro-life advocate, especially those in the pro-life generation who are on campuses

and we're talking about abortion, adoption and foster care comes up in every conversation.

And it's hard because as pro-life advocates, we have a big job to like stop the killing of

abortion. And it's hard to be like experts in everything because if you try to be your,

you know, masters of none. But I think it's important for us as pro-life

advocates because we're obviously pro-adoption. We're pro-reforming the foster care system,

seeing children be reunited their families, ensuring that children get placed into families

sooner when we know that the parents will not be able to parents their child.

But we need help, I think, as pro-lifers of like all the resources that are out there

and things that we can do and we can promote.
