Hi everyone, Miss Jean here. Are you ready for another mini adventure in Discovery Mountain? Well, I hope so.

In today's adventure, Hattie is awake and she's up early. She's sitting on the dock at Little Lake.

Ah, she must be getting ready for some quiet time.

Let's join her for today's episode called Adopted.

Little Lake is so peaceful.

I love the loons and seeing the sun peek over the mountains.

You know, this would be a nice place to read my Bible. Hmm, where did I leave off last time?

It's reading in Ephesians, and I hadn't gotten very far.

Oh, here it is.

Ephesians chapter 1, verse 5.

God decided in advance to adopt us into his own family by bringing us to himself through Jesus Christ.

Wow, that must be one very big family.

Imagine all the people from the whole world that are God's children.

This is what he wanted to do, and it gave him great pleasure.

Wow, you know, God really wants all of us to be in his family.

Let's see. Verse 6 says,

So we praise God for the glorious grace he has poured out on us

who belong to his dear son.

That certainly is something to be thankful for.

God, thank you so much for adopting me into your family

and for giving me a family in Discovery Mountain too.

You know, I'm so glad that everyone has a place in your family and is loved by you,
